I remember back in the 80s my Grandfather had a 48" one in his den with a nice surround sound set up and we always wanted to go over so we could watch stuff on Laser Disc Star Wars , Indiana Jones, and some movie with a huge octopus. Then break out the NES for some Super Mario Bros.
At 0:20 the tv on left my grandparents had in the 80s. We called it the big screen tv. I remember it had a texture to the screen of horizontal lines every few centimeters continously top to bottom.it sounded like a zipper if u ran anything on it
Yes. That is correct. My uncle had one and it was like that too. Then we got a Sony projection TV but it was smooth on the front. Sony put the bumps inside the screen vs. out.
