@@parrotconservative “there are some in this Congress who think that no man deserves a helping hand, that the best thing the government can do is get out of the way in all situations. while many may see their ideology as noble and their convictions as pure , I don’t. These so called conservatives want nothing more then for the boot of big business to be able to once again trample on the American worker. And I don’t intend to let that happen” JFK also supported universal healthcare and welfare expansion.
My big takeaway from this parody is how much American singing has changed in the 52 year gap between versions. It's hard to describe, I suppose the old version had a "melted" quality to its harmony, while this one each voice is pointed enough to be easily be picked out.
@@wegood563 The accents are definitely a major part of it. Having given the two another side-by-side listen, I think the original benefited from its poor audio quality. This version uses stereo to distinguish the voices, while the original is mono with probably fewer channels (aka it might have been recorded from one microphone, or probably two...one for vocals and one for instruments) so that's why it sounds more like a baked-in harmony.
Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump for me Do you want a man for president? who's seasoned through and through? But not so doggoned seasoned that he won't try something new? A man who's old enough to know And young enough to do? Well, it's up to you, it's up to you It's strictly up to you. But it's Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump for me Do you want a man with spirit Who is not afraid to fight? A man whose record shows That he will fight for what is right? A loyal man who brings the job A fresh new point of view? Well, it's up to you, it's up to you, It's strictly up to you. Cause it's Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump for me And do you deny to any man The right he's guaranteed To be elected president No matter what his creed It's promised in the Bill of Rights To which we must be true So it's up to you, it's up to you It's strictly up to you And it's Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump for me for me Do you like a man who answers straight? A man who's always fair? We'll measure him against the others And when you compare You'll cast your vote for Trump And the change that's overdue So it's up to you, it's up to you It's strictly up to you Yes,it's Trump,Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump for me
I think this is terrific. It honors JFK’s legacy. My one suggestion. The last picture should’ve had Michelle and the girls. JFK’s song ended with a picture of him, Jackie, and Caroline. John John was born right after the election.
Ironically, in 2012 I remember thinking that the Kennedy jingle would fit Romney (especially since Romney was the first major Mormon candidate, and some of the verses in the JFK jingle relate to his Catholicism)

Well we thought we were getting change, but all we got was more little kids in poor countries getting bombed for no reason. Only way we’re getting change now is via revolution, wether peaceful or violent
The Obama campaign should use this. Would be great if his campaign stop audience learned the words and sang it at every stop. This would drive Mitt's & his fans crazy. Now I can't wait to hear Mitt's little ditty in reply.
I don't agree with the message of this video nor do I have a great opinion of Obama; however, the production quality of this is insane and deserves praise.
I may or may not vote for Obama (I tend to vote Libertarian, but I am flexible), but I like campaign ads like this. (Though it would be nicer if it had more substance.) The negative ads really annoy me and make me want to vote for the one being targeted. I would like a new trend in campaign ads: more funny and fun and positive. Let's skip all the negativity.
