National award just created another job for him. The reviewer job. Nothing different of him from other movie directors. Even before him there were good movies, bad movies, progressive movies, ootb movies. Also with respective to audiences there were audiences who were understanding the layers of the movie content, and also people who were failing to understand them. Nothing really special or different of him.
