A short video of Barbados Anolis Lizards that make our garden their home. Watch one eat some bits of fruit and another display his throat skin (dewlap) for the ladies!
What a lovely video clip. I lived in Barbados for 10 years and they always inhabited my homes there. One even came through the window one day while I watched TV and climbed onto the palm of my hand. How strange and unbelievable is that? It sat there half an hour before I eventually put it back outside. See my blog post: thingsiloveandlike.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/budgies-butterflies-lizards.html
Thanks Dennis. Those were pieces of papaya that I placed out for him. Sometimes I leave out small pieces of guava or bananas and they seem to like them all. On their own, they mainly catch and eat insects.
