In 2012, the Government of Barbados and the IDB established the Public Sector Smart Energy program (PSSEP) to advance their vision and commitment to renewable energy across the country. 12 years later, the Barbados of the Future is a reality for the country. As part of the program, buildings throughout the island implemented energy efficiency measures, as well as the installation of solar panels, with the help of the IDB. This is the story of Grantley.
