This girl was so charismatic. We could watch this video countless times. In 1965 I was 15 and my brother was 10. We lived the music that kept giving and giving. Love the string section.
Barbara Mason’s original of Yes I’m Ready hit number five on the pop charts on July 31,1965 and Teri DeSario and KC’s duet remake was the highest charted version that spent two weeks at number two on March 1-8,1980 right behind Queen’s rockabilly styled hit Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
I wish she and other artists record their songs for the radio and numerous other versions of the same song in different variations the artists wanted to portray the song. Man i wish that was a thing.
