Nice one! Be careful fishing for barbel in this weather in this heat it's possible to kill them from the fight. Obviously this video is just after the storms we had 👍
@@dangoesoutdoors897 same here, been dying to get out! Had to do some surface fishing but they're definitely struggling at the moment. Goodluck:) the river I mentioned in another video is where the ginger fisherman goes but won't ruin it for him or me 😂
Honestly I don't why I bother buying boilies and pellets when worms seem to always work, plus there's the chance of a maybe a big perch or something. Great swim choice! Have only fished the trent once this year but hope to be back before the season ends
Cracking video buddy and that river looked a lovely colour ….. then smaller barbel go like torpedoes don’t they !!!! Well done buddy and all the best to ya 😀😀😀👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

Hi Dan. I’ve got five separate weeks on the Wye again this summer and worms are banned down there due to the risk of catching salmon parr. Same with maggots until much later in the season.
Another great session Dan, I hope karenas lasagne was worth it Dan as I would have stayed fishing a bit longer & asked for some to be tubbed up for later 😁 I've got a small composter that I put my veg peelings in, bought a tub of worms to get it started & it's thriving.
Personally I leave the feeder in quite a while for barbel on small rivers, don't think they'd like too much casting but it's all different on other places in other conditions
