My dad operated a Barber Greene pavior for Peeblesshire County Council in Scotland. I remember it having duplicate driving controls and a driving seat which was swapped over as required. It had a Fordson engine. When it was first accquired is was cutting edge technology compared to what had gone before. It lasted for many years and and was eventually replaced by a Blaw-Knox machine.
I never got to run a Paver like this, I started on a Blaw-Knox PF500 and a Blaw- Knox PF180H with wedg lock screeds but the road widner we had was a BK RW95 and it still had a clutch. I realy liked the BG260, what a nice paver.
