I like what you're doing with videos. Also I got a used cordless designer up from a place by me and I took the balding slide and blade and put it on. Now I got cordless balding and a magic clip.
Nice video, my tip to you is to not put a hard line one with the Wahl balding. I suggest to use a 0000 aught blade to put the line in then come up with your adjustable with the blade closed which is a 000 aught, then you can come up under the 0000 aught with your Wahl baldings or 5 star shavers and gradually flick the line out with ease.I hope this helps.
Just a tip, you take a line out with what you put it in with... You will not be able to take that balding line out unless you zero gap the clipper... I just got the magic clip cordless so thanks for the review (haven't used them yet) very helpful
What works for me as far as taking out the bottom line is what ever clipper you use to put the line in you have to use that same clipper to get it out also too try not to put a hard line in flick out meaning make a faint line not a hard one great video they are great clippers I love mine a must have also designers clippers are great too
i had a wahl super taper cordless to me they look the same and even have almost the same specs like 5500 dc motor, battery is the same, excepting the price, this thing is more expensive.I would like to know if is better than what i had, if they reduced the vibrations on that thing and the noise because when was On the Super taper was very noisy and vibrate a lot interfering with work.
I suggest you bald out last, Bro. I set my first line of demarcation with the blade either open on my magic clip or halfway. Also, in my experience, you don't need your fade blade zero gapped. Leave some space between the stationary blade and the cutting blade so you don't have overlap. The balding clipper should be used for clean up at best with the "notching" technique where you only use the corner of the blade. I learned that light pressure is a very important key to fading and line-ups. That's one thing they very seldomly tell you. Great vid! Keep up the good work, God Bless!

Hey bro... best way to take out the bottom line is to not create one... "flick off" creating a false line... it actually looks like u put a line there from the distance but because it's not a blunt line... it's easy to blend out... it's an advanced method of cutting... but if and when u really get better with the cordless... go with the Ferrari volare x2 fx811... they are the best of the best in my book... single charge lasts 3hrs... brushless motor which means less over heating and quieter motor... man... and the level adjustment is craaayyyyy...

Im not here to boast or anything like that but ive been cutting pro for 12 yrs now n id like to share something about cordless clippers. such a good idea!..About 3 yrs ago here in SD i was at my shop just starting a "high" skin taper when all of a sudden the power goes out! But im talking about a serious black out. We waited for a while for power to kick back in but come to find out through the car radio that the power was gon be out for 3-6 days!!! Plus My poor client was flying back to Boston for a wedding!!! I dont know how a cordless would handle a full days worth of work but i do know now that they are a must for emergency situations haha. hi just wanted to point out, with that type of blade you dont zero gap, also some times that particular blade is not machined right and it could have some flaws, like uneven edge at the tip of the blade , also it could have very thin edge at the teeth if you compare the thickness on this blade with the one on the super taper or designer its waaay different, again if you seen to be catching on the customer skin even at open lever its because is to thin at the edge, my best solution without putting that blade aside is to grind it out with sand paper on flat surface, open the lever turn the clipper upside down grinding the teeth nice and slow motion side to side, do it like five times really slow, dont go crazy with it, you dont want to grind it to much otherwise you'll be putting a lot of thickness on them edge, clean it really good after grinding or the metal shaving that stay on the blade will ruin the sharpness of the blade, washed or rinse the blade with cool care and apply oil before turning the clipper on just try this and you wont be disappointed ;)
Bro i went through the same thing with my Wahl seniors limited edition and you really do have to turn your blade to the side and use the fat part of the top blade no more then about 4 teeth on that blade and keep a super soft touch
To get the bottom line out playboy it's just a matter of perfecting your technique. You never want to cut a client but it happens from time to time, especially breaking in new tools and what you feel comfortable with. Keep up the hard work and you will be a true great in no time. I recommend AlsMillions, he is a great guy to be mentored by and he always takes the time of day to holla at a fellow barber when they call him.
Maybe use like a wall hero or other trimmer to get the bottom line out n then go in with these... Good review I'm going to get me a pair because of this video
Hi CleanCutz, its chase from Saudi Arabia, Each time after I have my hair cut at the barber I feel like there is some tinny hair left.(I can see it in the mirror). - Is it because of the clipper or the barber him self? (the clipper used is a wahl 5 star magic clip cordless) - Or is it because it is mainly a fading hair clipper? I assume. - What can you suggest to get this solved by anyway?
hey man nice vid. I just bought this puppy, but it "snaps" when I start it, I've re-aligned the blades and oiled it, but still there's a strong "pop" in the blade-area when I start it.. any tips?

well ive checked alot of videos, and it seems that all theseclippers do that, the clipper works good so probably just me not beeing used to the mechanics, cheers for the response
hey bro, I normally make the initial guideline with my whal 5 star senior open. Then, i blend down till I get to my whal balding. Once I'm using the balding clipper I just clean out the bottom of the head and start flicking up when i start reaching the whal 5 star senior closed. Works for me!
Hey man liked the video, did you learn to get that line out? Was it from just not flicking ur wrist and pressing to hard? i've been cutting my own hair for about 5 years now and finally been doing bald fades and it comes out pretty good you dont really see any lines but I was considering getting these cause as i mentioned i cut my own hair and i think it would be a lot easier for me to get cordless, any tips or anything you learned that you wish u knew when u first started cutting? and can u use this as a t-outliner? i dont think so right? And what outliner do u find the best i use Andis, and im scared to try new ones cause im used to mine and i dont wanna bring my hairline back

I'm glad to respond bro. The purple Andis guards do not fit this blade. There is a blue charging indicator that turns on when it's charging and cuts off when it is finished. They charge for about 2 hours to get a full charge and have an approximate run time of 90 minutes. I would also add that if they die, they CAN be used as a corded clipper when plugged in. Hope this helps.
I'm not a barber. I just bought this because I cut my own hair and my old clippers got toe up. I wanted better ones and ones that I could maneuver around easily as I moved and this new bathroom doesn't have the same mirror situation as my old place. I also wanted something easy on my hands. I like it a lot it feels good and I thought maybe it was just me since it seemed sharp and I thought I was gonna cut my skin up a couple times. I thought maybe I was using it at the wrong angle or something. My hair is probably a bit longer than yours. I used to use a crummy wahl kit and would cut it with no guard on the open setting. I used the smallest guard the magic clip core with and I don't know if that's closer or not but even with that guard on I have to keep the blades open so I don't tear my skin up. It's very sharp. Any advice?

The reason I'm asking is because i wanted to know if the corded magic clips had a different blade than the cordless magic clips. If so, which clipper comes with the thinner blade? I'm a fan of the Andis Fade Masters so I'm trying to figure out which blade is Wahl's thinnest blade.
Is it dangerous for an inexperienced person to buy this to cut their own hair at home due to the sharp fade blade and not having the proper technique and being about to see what you're doing at the back especially? Would I be better with something like the super taper cordless or cordless designer? I'm in the UK so options are more limited than the USA. I'm looking to do a number 1 cut all over my head, facial hair and body. Thanks

vibrate a lot as the super taper cordless?? that one was vibrating heating and making a noise like no other...vibrations were that big that interfered with work making hand numb

+CleanCutz like to see how many screws the blade got on the backside. if there 3 screws it´s an adjusto lock blade. that means ya cant change the blades from a desingner to a super taper or any other wahl clipper. if ya got the blade system with 2 screws, yer free to do that. allthough the adjusto lock system is good 4 clipper over comb, but it suckz fade or tapering.
yer lucky with yer blades! think that wahl try´s to sell there 2`nd class blades here in germany + overseas. our new syrian custumers want like that. LOL

I went in the store, but they do sell them online. It most certainly was worth it. I'm going to do a review on them at some point. Completely customize-able.
