Brown Headed Bird is a mysterious bird. It is an Asian #barbet native to the Indian subcontinent where it inhabits tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests.
#barbetfood : It eats fruits and insects. It forages on mangoes ripe jackfruit papaya banana figs and similar cultivated fruit trees.
It is fairly toterant to humans and often can be seen in city parks also. It nests in a tree hole laying 2-4 eggs.
