Beetlemuse I had this cassette tape when I was a little girl I am 43 years old and I can still remember all of these songs. I have been going through some really difficult times the past couple of years with depression and anxiety and things like that and the things that make me happy or thinking about my childhood. So I was on here on RU-vid last night watching things from the 80s commercials and all of that I came across this and it just made me feel so good. Just know that! It really did it sounds crazy but it just took me back to when I was about seven and eight years old. This is so awesome what a blessing. Thank you 😊
This just made my millennium!!! I had this on repeat as a kid. I had the Barbie with the mic and she’d put on concerts for all my other Barbies and stuffed animals. 💖
The other night my husband was telling me of his first cassette tape. I told him mine was Barbie and the Rockers. I was in 4th grade in 86 and the first time I didn't have to share with my younger sisters. I then started to sing this. He still didn't believe me this was a thing. I was excited to see this and started playing this, he was laughing so hard. Then wondered why his sister never had this. Probably because he is 5 years older than me and his sister is 2 years older than him. Lol Thanks for the memories. Wish I still had mine but I wore it out.
This is incredible!!! I can’t even believe I can still remember pretty much every word! 7 yr old me is so thrilled right now. I got it for Christmas and I still remember how much it loved it!
I totally had this cassette as a kid. Born with a Mic in my hand was my favorite! I wonder why they weren't featured at all in the Barbie live action movie?
OMG..my absolute favorite doll that I played with when I was 6 yrs old. My favorite were Barbie and the Sensations though. But both dolls were fantastic. Back in the 80s or so, Barbie could do so many things. The manufacturers actually were very creative with her. Nowadays Barbie has dulled a little bit-it's like they've run out of ideas for her.
