Oh, the hey day of Barbie! I remember growing up and every year our small town Walmart (even that dinky little town) carried beautiful Barbies. I would always stop and admire them. Just boxes of gorgeous quality Barbies.Those days r over tho...

I have the Cinderella from this series. I got her in 1996 and she cost $70 at the time. I remember because it was the first collector Barbie I ever bought. I even got a pink plastic display case to put her in. I think $25 was a great price for your doll.

Overall, the dress is very pretty, but the top is way over the top (see what I did there!). Very 80's /90's. I also love the ringlets . J, do you know if this doll came out before or after the movie?

The older Children’s Collector Series dolls have more “customized” stands since they have their names on it. Sad to see that this one has a more generic stand, but I guess “Beauty from Beauty and the Beast” is too long of a text to put on a stand. Either way, this doll looks gorgeous, though I wish Mattel gave her a more original design like Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Snow White and Beauty and the Beast looks too similar to Disney’s designs.
