Barbie Extra #2 Doll Review - Super Cute and Unique! 

This one is really pretty. I like the pastel colors on her and I like that she's Asian. There are not enough Asian dolls on the market. I like how Barbie has people of all races and hair textures. And I like that Barbie even tries to make physical disability representation as well. But its nice to see a pretty Asian doll with a more Kawaii style. Maybe I'll consider getting her.

i'm not a big fan of these dolls but i think it's great to see a line with diversity in background and in sizes! love that this one is a curvy East Asian girl. and even though i personally wouldn't get these, i do hope that these indicate a step in the right direction for Mattel what with the articulation and the details. (now all we need are stands!)

This is gonna show my age but the dress is totally giving me Crystal Barbie vibes. She has a lovely face.

#2 is definitely my favorite from the Barbie Extra line because she reminds me of those fairy kei fashionistas and the pastel look is my jam. Hope you find her other shoe!

I really like these. There's one the has her hair in french braids who looks very cool.

This one is my favorite overall. I just love the pastel colors and that it is a curvy doll. The long split hair is gorgeous and is overall very pretty. I also love the one with the two braids and pastel hair.

The more I see these dolls the more I like them. They're very much their own thing and I think this line could grow to be something really fun.

Everytime you say "Number One" and "Number Two" it makes me think of Umbrella Academy lol

#2 is definitely my favorite in the line, but the yellow green beanie isn’t doing it for me. It could have been white and looked way better imo. Even a blue or purple to match the rest of the outfit. Heck, if it weren’t such a yellow green it might be okay.

I just bought it today (in Paris you don't find it easily in stores). She's soooo adorable, what a pretty face! I love her!! I'll keep it in the box, the art is too cute!

I am kind of with most who have opened these that stands would be better than pets. Though I just realized that the pet reminds me of the dog in Jamie and the Magic Torch, the cartoon from years ago.

I love these. I don't like boring realistic outfit so these are more my style. I love all the extra pieces like the rainbow fur, big pink jacket, the shiny dress, rainbow braid hair, fringe jacket, blue curly hair, tye dye shirt with fanny pack and the skateboard. So much interesting detail and outfit to play with.

Melissa, so glad to hear you and Sweet William are both safe! These Barbies remind me of the Barbies I had growing up (I'm a 55 year old fan). They move and are very playable with good quality materials. The typical Barbie now just isn't the same.

I don't know why, but I truly love this doll. I like it much more than #1. Love the face mold, her subdued colours. She just seems more unique in my eyes. Different from a typical Barbie. That might be why.

I love the two toned hair one! I'm a doll collector too but haven't been buying much cuz quality tanked. I grew up in the early 2000s and the dolls than were amazing I'd love to see if the quality is comparable

So this is a bit knit picky but I'm not a fan with how they reused all the accessories from current fashion Pax! I mean granted they are recolored but I just feel like since they are labeled extra that we should be seeing some new accessories and new shoes but no the reused

The thing to me is: yes they might be good when one is just looking at them however for normal people who have to pay for the dolls with their own limited money I want to juy the best bang for my buck. Not something that clearly isn't up to the other standards in the toy isle

This one is my fav! Her hair and iridescent dress are fabulous! We saw these online and couldn't wait for them to come out in the store. We were at the local Wally World and saw this one and curly blue hair Extra doll. We couldn't believe it! They were the only 2 and were just in a rando spot! Of course we grabbed these babies up. My girls love them! P.S. I know the blue curly hair is sparse in back when separated; but when you fluffy it up you dont see it. My 7 year old loves her beaches her fav color is blue.

I love her face but I don’t like the hair texture or the fashion. The other two girls I love so much more. I am planning on rerooting her with a nice soft blonde

The pig accessories were actually for the pig because the wings cleanse fit the Barbie and I think that the Unicorn one couldn't fit the Barbie and that's what I think for the pig with the Barbie

I just ordered #2 from Amazon and I'm so glad to find out that her hair is soft. So often on the brightly colored hair dolls the hair is a horrible texture. I'm so excited to have this one. She's my first Barbie Extra.

You say about representation but something I would love to see as they do exist is is an albarino doll by that I mean a doll representing someone who has no pigmentation anywhere as well as that I would love to see other conditions represented such as vitaligo or psoriasis as people need to know but not everybody has perfect skin and that is all about what people like on the inside not how they look

tbh she looks crazy in mattel released photos and i kinda hated her style, but in vids and IG photo reviews she looks so pretty i love her now

Im one of those that don't like made to move very much since its so easy to get them out of pose and the ankles bend upwards so i really like that they went for the older articulation style.
