I have to admit, if the doll is curvy I’ll work to find the matching curvy MTM doll. I can’t convert a curvy to classic MTM for me it loses the spirit of the doll. But I also know that sometimes they just haven’t designed a match so will change to the closest MTM just so she has articulation. I’m loving this Extra Fancy doll she’s gorgeous! 🌺

She's very pretty you gave her a great hairstyle and cute looks as always, loved the white skirt look and the original look with the skirt as a cape was what I was thinking also. Tinsel is a mess always, with the boil wash I usually use a fine tooth comb to smooth and straighten the hair down the minute I remove her from the water. Great video again!
I’m not collecting Barbie right now. But if I was going to get a Barbie extra it’s would be an extra fancy over the original style. I just prefer that they have a clear singular theme to their outfits while still being “extra”.

Oh man, using the skirt as a poncho was genius! I saw her in the store yesterday for the first time, alongside Extra #14 and #15, and several Totally Hair (who I hate to say are a little disappointing to me). I do plan on getting them eventually, but with the Extra 5 packs having an exclusive, I am actually discouraged from getting them individually now.

Oh I love all 3 looks! My favorite was the festival one. Her hairdo with the braids turned out awesome. Her hair color looks just like orange sherbet ice cream. She’s my second favorite extra fancy behind the pink one.

Hope you’re open to a tip on head removal… because I’m giving it anyway 😊 I’ve found that, to avoid potentially splitting the neck at the seems or causing white stress lines, I’ll heat the head until it’s very squishy, then tightly hold the neck so the seems are secure, then pop the head straight up and off, rather than twisting. 💪 By the way, Look #3 is my favorite! I agree the raw edges work best with what you were going for 😊
Love what you did with the hairstyle. So creative! I, too did not realize that she is wearing a shower curtain as an overskirt! That is disappointing. It would have been nice if the overskirt is made of a sheer fabric.
Thank goodness that MATTEL heard our prayers to finally reproduce back the original face mold and hair quality of Barbie, that is soft and flowy that doesn't get matted, frizzy and tangled overtime from styling and braiding 😄🙏 ..... I wish they'd should also made her hands none posable. I'm glad that they made the length slightly more LONGER that goes down her ankles
This Barbie Extra Fancy :aka Tropical Sunset- is a very pretty doll. My code name for her would be "Barbie Floral Tropic Princess." I would rather her outfit be in a cloth material and not the plastic. Her hair reminds me of one of the curvy Fashionistas. I do not like the tinsel in the hair. Hi there i make a video about her too but in asmr!! Im quite disappointed that the hair is not as long as promo pic but overall the floral hair is the softest. I felt that the doll had more quality since it felt heavier
