It is the skipper facemold! Shes the only other extra doll I want from wave 2. I love what Mattel is trying to do. But I also feel that they have alot of people on their team that cater to an older demographic in terms of collecting. It turns out making some of the fashions look a little dated. I'd love to see Mattel bring 80s and 90s retired headmolds back for the Barbie Extra line. If Mattel could stray away from cheap hair, pixelated screenings, and misaligned lips, these dolls could be amazing! The 80s,90s,00s are having a moment, they totally have all the fuel to make extra, EXTRA. Maybe wave 3 can be their best Extras yet! PS, Love your channel!!!

I Love Barbie Extra Line if they Use Saran for the hair instead of Cheap Polypropylene, it literally feels like the Knock off Dolls hair Quality✨ - Why Mattel why?

When I saw the top with the necklace print on it I was like ... WHAT??? Could it be even more dated? 😂 It’s so like 2007-2012 H&M fashion which is really not on trend right now lol

Barbie Extra line is the reason why I became a doll collector. Really love them and I hate the MTM body, so I'm really happy they have this articulation

The box does reminds me of the Hannah Montana Quick Switch doll box.

I really like that Extra Barbie with the blue hair (I also hate the "bow" and I would love to see how you restyle it). Her face sculpt is gorgeous. I usually don't care about the pet but I am a sucker for cats so I kind of like this one. I love how her clothes and accessories are cat themed too. Okay, now I really want her - I hope I can find her in the US!

That Last outfits giving on the blue haired dolls.. is giving me all the late 2000's Disney channel vibes.

First off I love your content and your honesty. Second, of all the doll lines, Barbie has become my least favourite because the quality in both the doll (the hollow cheap feeling plastic) and the clothes, has gone down so drastically. And ugh the clothes. Mattel has trapped Barbie in 2000-2009. The fashion is so outdated and tacky. That’s not to say other doll lines always have top tier fashions (some do fall flat and look weird) but Barbie is trapped in the 2000’s and it’s like looking at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards red carpet looks from the noughties lol Barbie, while their diversity in their dolls is awesome, the quality and fashion is not lol As for the dolls in this vid, the dolls themselves are both beautiful. They have lovely faces. I like the second more. Her face and hair are really cute ☺️

The Barbie extra line is growing on me. I like this doll alot and might actually get her. I'll probably leave her boxed as I actually really like the look. Still not loving the colours on of the clothes though but this wave is better then the first imo.

Ive found with this doll line that what it excels at is being able to market to both children and adult collectors, and there are certain dolls who’s fashion and style is amazing while others seem extremely lacking to me this doll being an example. But #1, #2, and #5 are stunning to me

These dolls and their fashions are centered around Kawaii animation and style merged with barbies style

The Extra 30 reminds me of Holly Go Lightly with her cat. I want to see her when you get rid of the bow hairstyle. I would probably get two because the packaging is clever. The Extra #7 I would get only for her pet because it's supposed to be a Pomeranian and I have one, so I want the mascot. I would get her when she goes on clearance and find someone to rehome the doll with.

I thought I wasn't going to like any of the dolls... but, surprisingly, I loved them both! Oh, and I loved the second outfit on the first doll, I definitely would keep her like that if I would buy her, which, I might do, btw...

I honestly LOVE most of the Extra dolls. I ordered this one yesterday - I'm taking that bow out of her hair too. She has a gorgeous face and hair colour which is what drew me to her. That Extra #7 I don't have yet, but I'm planning to get her, take her hair loose, and paint that garish lip colour a little darker.

I love your reviews, especially when you like the doll! I prefer the one with blue hair, and wish the curvy dolls had high heels too!

I'm LIVING for the leather skirt

Thanks for your review. I really like the blue-haired doll, her face, hair, fashions, accessories, box. I got one to display MIB but then found her little cat had somehow rotated around her arm and was now planted in her skirt with its tail in the air. I had to get a knife to inch through the gap in the box (without opening it) to gently poke the cat back into its correct position on her arm. It bent the plastic a bit, not too badly, but I really want to keep it nice and in box as these are now quite rare.

I feel like the second doll with all the features from the first one would be a perfect combination

For the extra doll #8, the purple top one, she has 2 top on. In myfroggy video, she remove the transparent purple top and under it is a purple bralette for a more casual style with the short. I was shock barbie didn't take short cut and made an additional top OMG For the blue hair doll, I love lady ga ga bow hair style but I feel the Barbie did it wrong. The bow look too weird looking, too many rubberband etc if they just did a bigger bow with her natural hair like ga ga it would look better IMO I really wish the bow didn't look soooo weird. The doll is really cute and can;t wait to get it when it on sale. I don;t think the set is worth $30. If the doll was a made to move body maybe the $30.

I love Extra line I enjoy them so much, I just wish they step it up with the quality I mean we don't need pets, we need more clothing, and I really agree, even Extra need cohesion cause sometimes they look kinda weird but overall I love the line like I never thought I would enjoy Barbie so much

I like the articulation of these dolls and the accessories, less the pets, are good. Metallic jewelry and translucent glasses, yay! Love the painted edges of the second doll's hair. Wish her lip color was more realistic.

I love the barbie extra with blue hair! I like her jewelry and her face sculpt is beautiful. I’m normally not into the pets. But I love the little kitty with this one and all the cat-themed accessories. Overall, I do not like the second wave of Barbie extra…they seem like a hott mess. But I really do like this blue-haired girl. The mix-and-match accessories are kind of giving me jewel girl Barbie vibes from 2000.

I want her, because he's damn cute. If the hair is that bad I'll reroot her with some nice nylon off of etsy. I'm actually... surprised with the fashionistas. I was expecting Dollar General/ Family dollar dolls, not what I ended up buying when I picked one up to use for a fit model for my Looks Petite doll. Sure, she' hollow but the plastic feels nice. I ended up giving her metalic cyan hair on a whim. So I'm adding this Extra Doll to Mega Fringe that I'm going to look for this month. ...Also, I've started looking and I see this one NOWHERE!

You know that LOL surprise is still doing hair bows and stuff like bows made out of your own hair so if Barbies doing it it's out of date but if LOL does it it's not out-of-date?

These dolls have great potential! LOVE the dolls! Love the articulation. Made to move bodies are to much articulation. These have perfect articulation. It's the fashions I'm not crazy about. Not bbn the pieces them selves, but the combinations. Other wise I want ALL the new Barbie extra dolls. I'll just redress them. Great review as usual. Keep up the excellent work!

Aside from the bad color combination, this doll it actually really good and pretty.

Mattel is finally going on the right direction when it comes to quality but I miss how great they used to be when it comes to concepts like the storylines they’d incorporate into each of their brands/lines, the characterization and development of their characters, etc Storytelling has always been mattel’s biggest strength and what set their lines apart from other companies’ and they just completely ditched it

I like Extra 7 but I wish she had black lipstick instead. The pastel lipstick just look bad on her. Other than that she's real cute.

These Extra Dolls need to have some kind of theme... at least then their style could feel cohesive. Go EXTRA with a 80s or 90s theme etc.

At 12:52 there are some curvy Barbie dolls which does wear heels you just have to find them

The color palette is not the most consistent, but I think it makes the doll style somewhat unique. I find it sad that there isn't as much detail in accessories and in clothing like OMG dolls.
