@@Kikicole PREACH! Bibble terrified me as a child. He looks like a swollen Furby with mold growing on him, and that gibberish voice was always horrendous. I never understood why Mattel thought young children would find that appealing.
@@JarethTheGoblinKingForever Thank you!! Finally someone with good common sense 🥲 I couldn’t have explained it better myself! That thing is bread from nightmares
the yellow/orange guardian fairy is a whole mood, from sassy and wanting her freedom to full on enjoying the food and tea laverna gave hear and acting like its a tea partie cause why not
@@iwakeupandboomimarat yeah I get that but for example Hue the Butterfly is an animal too and he was affected by it. I guess it's just lazy writing because bibble walking on the ground with his little feet wouldn't have worked so they needed him to fly.
Same! This movie literally shaped my childhood and my creative mind, especially regarding the fantasy genre. This and nutcracker are the staples of my love for fantastical stories. So full of wonder!
Think about it, they were bullying Elena for being disabled Edit: wow this blew up, also by 'they' I'm referring to the majority of fairies in the meadow picking on her
I watched that one movie just for bibbles in that scene where he ate fruits and it changed his voice probably 8 times like I can remember loosing my shit back then
"everyone's"??? No, not mine. I hated him so much and watching this video made me hate him even more. He was and will always be the annoying sidekick character
i used to hide under my kitchen table with like twenty large blankets to build a fort with my moms dvd laptop thingy and watch this. I HAD THE BARBIE DOLL TOO WITH THE LIGHT UP WINGS TOO COME FOR ME
this and the nutcracker one were my most memorable barbie movies among others. like, i was around 3 or 4, wanting barbie movie cds instead of what society thought a boy would get. and the thing is, my dad let me bought them and enjoyed my childhood. grew up in one of religious southeast asia country, even the idea of watching a girl shows if you were a boy was kinda radical back then. but it was 16-17 years ago, so it might be not really the same as today.
@@katiesandstrom9117 not exactly. Fairytopia is from where Barbie becomes a fiary and had lived in a magical world all her life. Mermaidia is from where Barbie is half mermaid and lived in the modern human world for most of h her life. Different worlds. Same franchise, different series.
Am I the only one who shipped nalu with her ? Why did they have to make nalu being with another one in the second film😭 it would have been the most original love interest in barbie film, i'm sad
This was one of my FAVORITES as a kid. This, the Barbie Rapunzel movie, and The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl were on replay. "Strangers are just the friends I haven't met yet."
I’m angry at this movie for setting up Nalu x Elina and then ripping it away from us in the next movie. However Mermaidia slaps so I’m willing to forgive it.
Y’all are talking about bibbles but the amount of dedication this creator has to editing this and their other videos is AMAZING. I genuinely was admiring their work the whole time. It’s so good 😭
I remember secretly living Barbie movies a day kid. Even if I didn’t want to publicly admit it. Maybe because mostly how every background in the OG movies look like dang beautiful renaissance paintings 😆
Azura had her necklace for a second, when she was captured by fungus and talking with Laverna, but then in disappeared. I guess, another animation mistake
