Absolutely agree! Just saw this yesterday and I'd give it an 8.5 or 9/10 personally. Really exceeded my already high expectations- though I do agree it can come across as a little preachy (sometimes that's what a mainstream film needs, I think) I loved how they resolved the Ken and Barbie storyline in the end :) Ferrell's character was a bit unnecessary, but not bad at all per se. Sort of subverted expectations about who the 'real' villain was going to be ! It was everything a Barbie movie needed to be and more.
