The Barbie Looks line is by far the best Mattel offer right now on a lower budget collector dolls, they have beautiful face sculpts and diversity also, we need more Buff Kens in various skin tones (Model 18 is nowhere to be found when I do is expensive, same for Sean and BMR Tate) so we require them asap. I managed to get a number 23 out of the box no clothes I find her cute, they all are the petite's face is stunning IMHO least favourite is the girl with the fringe/bangs I'm not a fan of bangs at all!
I agree with the bangs. They’re only good straight out of the box (because.. gel) but the bangs tend to get disheveled over time. I’d have loved to see more Kens in Wave 4 but I hope we’ll have a different skin tone next year. Looks is my fav collector line tho I still complain about the lack of accessories. BMR 1959 line had those but not Looks! ☹️
@@TysCollectibles Bangs are the worst lol 😆 l wished as a kid they hadn't given the Totally Hair, Hollywood hair, Hulla Hair, Cut N style, Glitter hair Jewelled Mermaid all the Barbies with long long hair bangs, Sparkle Eyes Barbie had the worst hair and bangs they were thick, I bought them all when I started rerooting and gave them all the long hair with no bangs! Recently I got Barbie looks 19 and removed the factory hair including those bangs and rerooted her without. I loved the BMR1959 line the dolls had nice sculpts it's where we got the first MTM Ken dolls love Tate, people found the clothes garish... yet first thing we do is remove them and style them to our liking. I managed to complete the entire BMR1959 in box also.
I only liked the BMR line because of the accessories but many collectors think the ensembles are over-the-top. But this is where we got new face sculpts too so that’s a win!
Your Victoria came with a defect in the eyes, one eye bigger than the other and a bit cross-eyed... a shame 💔. That's why I DON'T like to buy online, I prefer to buy in person in stores😅. Linas ARE also coming with defects in their eyes, and Andras with defects in her mouth 🤡, the only ones who are coming without defects are the curvy one (Simones, right?) and Heidis...
