Barbie Movie Doll - Does She Look Like Margot Robbie? I am beyond excited to see The Barbie Movie!

I think she actually looks pretty cute in pictures, but it makes me happy to hear that she looks better in person. I’m really hoping that at least this doll stays at $25 and doesn’t go any higher, so that I can afford to get her. 🥰 The other dolls from this movie (according to leaks) look like they’re gonna be priced at $50 and the toy pink corvette will probably be around $100, so yeah … they really need to provide us with more affordable options imo. 😬 Thanks for the review, I’m really looking forward to seeing the movie and reliving all that nostalgia. 💖

I like her a lot! I don’t get all the negativity surrounding this doll but some people will complain about anything I guess. Absolutely LOVE her dress! Movie looks so fun, really looking forward to seeing it. I love that line about dying too. 😂

I ordered this doll before the pictures were released and worried about what I ordered. I was so happy when I saw her. I think she is beautiful and the quality is great (an actual hair bow of fabric - print all the way around on the dress & fabric panties! What?!?). I can’t wait to get more of the movie dolls. I’m excited for so many of them. 🩷

I think she’s so beautiful and had to get her! I love that she looks like Margot. She definitely reminds me of playline dolls I had in the 90s and early 2000s. Her dress is adorable! I had to get Ken as well - she didn’t want to be alone! I’m not sure I’ll get the $50 dolls or not, maybe if I was more of a Barbie collector. Maybe the $50 dolls will go on sale at some point. I love the Simu Ken and America’s Gloria doll. I don’t know why Alan and Midge weren’t made?

I didn't understand the critics about her bangs. Yes, the prototype doll had a bangs styled like Margot in the movie but as a doll, the bangs is well done like that. Honesty, I didn't think I would want a Barbie doll from the movie but this one is pretty adorable and iconic. 👀

I bought her on Amazon. For a play line doll, she looks great! The amount of detail reminds me of the classic play line dolls from the 90s and early 2000s where you got cool stuff for roughly the same price tag. I’ll eventually wash the glue out of her bangs and hopes she looks better.

I love it! Im not big into most blonde "typical " barbies, but i really like this doll! Anndddd....i love the dress,hairstyle & even the bangs. ( i used to wear my bangs like that in junior high!) I agree with everything you said. I do think it is supposed make us think more about Barbie than the actress. If I was going to make her look more like Margot Robbie, I think I would part her bangs because it the pictures of seen that is how her hair lays. That is just my thought.

omg i heard they are making more Margot Robbie barbies, a friend just showed me the pics of the upcoming ones only two of them though. I hope they maybe one of her as 1958 barbie that look was gorgeous! i'd love to see it with the actual hairstyle and maybe a model muse or traditional 1958 barbie body.

Got my Barbie n Ken last June 1...they released it here in my country (Philippines) together with the Asian Ken...he is more expensive and so will be the other dolls coz they are collectibles n has a bigger box She is pretty in person than on photos.... Ordered the one in blue/pink dress with the hat...can't wait And hopefully to get the cowgirl I'm ok with my basic ken so not sure if I will buy the other ken

I love teasing my kids that I had to walk to school (not quite 1/2 mile) uphill both ways. There was a valley, of a deep creek, that was between the school and my house. So I had to walk down a hill and up a hill both there and back from school. Anyway, I am not a Barbie fan, and I especially do not like the "Barbie Pink", but this doll is CUTE!

Idk I wasn’t a fan of this doll. I tried cutting off the ratted dead ends and styling and her bangs and she still doesn’t look right. But I HAD to buy a movie Barbie, and sadly this was the only one in my local Walmart.

I wish she was even 30 bucks here in Europe.. truth is, she costs 50 (!) Euros here! And she is still the cheapest, all the other Charakters vary from 60 to 74 bucks, REGULAR price, mind you. I dont get it the extra value here, I mean higher shipping cant be the reason since dolls come from China or Indonesia anyway.. should be equally priced, right? Has anybody any ideas on these price gaps?

I thought the doll's mouth was too wide but Margot also has a wide mouth so yea I do think they look alike, it's just unfortunate bangs. It might be Barbie's year but there's no hope for Mattel and how they handle everything these days.

When the criticism first hit about her face, there was deafening silence in the doll community of the RU-vidrs who get given PR dolls. Now it’s died down, those have started up with their reviews leaning surprise suprise (Mattel must be watching ) towards glowing reviews while the ones with no freebies have been very honest including about how cheap and awful the material of the dress is as well as the cheapness of the doll in general. I personally can’t do cheap and ugly face dolls.

I personally wish that they would rerelease the dolls that her film outfits were inspired by, I want Barbie's face on my Barbies, not a Margot Robbie attempt (I still love her, just not a big fan of celebrity doll attempts in general)
