Thank you so much for explaining how you made those! Been making diy things for my daughter's Barbie birthday coming up, I've made similar things with crepe paper instead of the tissue paper, do you think it'd go further than the crepe paper? Just wondering your thoughts. Thank you again for the tutorial
Hi that's great!!! Honestly I think it's the same concept either using the crepe paper or the tissue paper. The only difference I see it's in the price, tissue paper is way more affordable than crepe paper. And I look at it this way these props are most likely only going to be used ones for example your daughter's birthday party so why not save a little bit of money. you're still going to get beautiful results. The tissue paper is a little bit harder to work with but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy. And for the fraction of the price! if you're buying the big rolls of crepe which I seen on Amazon for around at least $10 or more. Tissue paper honestly the way to go. hope this helps thank you for watching my tutorial.
Hi the ribbon help me determine how much ,or how long of a pice of cardboard I Would need to cover the circle. since I measure the circumference of the circle with the ribbon, I used the same ribbon to determine how much cardboard I needed to build the sides.Hope that helps..
Thank you very much , for the bottom Of the nail polish I just purchased a rectangular box taped it up with packaging tape. I really don’t remember the size of it. The size doesn’t really matter as long as it’s rectangle shape, you should be fine. For the top portion, the black part of the nail polish are used to 6 inch circle following the same as I did for the lipstick. Hope that helps.
