That’s fun to watch you catch monsters on the little Barbie rod. My cousin caught a 12 pound pike on an iron man rod about the same size. It completely wrecked the drag and he had to hand line the fish in at the end. Everyone on the lake was in shock that he caught such a fish on a little tiny cheap rod.

That’s the biggest ball of power bait I’ve ever seen used in my life 😮

I have shot ducks out of that spillway but never thought of fishing it before. Might have to hit it next time I’m there!

Lol @ the Barbi rod! I may have to make a video using my kids poles lmfao! My daughter was 7 when she used a stick with 6 ft of line and a Lil turkey sandwich on a hook and she immediately nailed a 10inch Cutthroat! That was 2 yrs ago, she's a killer fisherman now.

Another great video! I have been watching for awhile now and love your content, but I really wish you would make some tutorials or tips n tricks videos or even just different setups or what gear you like to use! I feel like it is always just catch n cook, catch n cook, catch n cook.... And that is cool. But, I am trying to learn how to fish and so it is like always watching your big brother hog the Nintendo, you want to play but you can't because he keeps winning and you feel great for him seeing HIM win, but you kind of want a turn so YOU can win, at least just ONCE for yourself so you know what winning feels like.... 😂 I don't expect you to give up your spots, but can you at least maybe explain what you are using, why you are using it, what you like or dislike about it and maybe how you go about narrowing down fish on a certain type of water? You are my favorite fishing RU-vidr and I know there is "videos out there" but I don't care about the other guys video you know what I mean.... I would like to catch fish like you, not like them 😂 Thanks 🙏

My favourite trout recipe is brook trout cooked with garlic and ginger, then covered with green onions, and drenched in a sauce I make with soya sauce, rice wine, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and a pinch of chilli flakes. I think that’s it 🤔 Definitely going to have to try some recipes with a good amount of butter in it this year

I caught a nice 9.5 pound trout on a very impressive saugilang light medium surf rod (10.99 at wallmart) with 4 lb test . Better than any of my okuma rods and just as good as my lamiglas / g loomis rods

It doesn’t matter what Rod you have it’s all about the setup have the right line and weight and hook your good to go

I would use a Barbie rod if it was my last option. Fish don’t care what brand you use as long as you have the bait or lure they are looking for. They don’t look up and say “nah he has Okuma I’m more of a Shimano fan “ Lol

I can say I’ve never seen someone use one of those bubbles as a weight.

Why didn’t you just harvest that one with the treble hook in its mouth?

Not sure why manufactures put 20 pound line on their trout reels. Cant cast any distance and the fish can see it. 4 or 6 pound line is plenty for trout.

They should have asked someone that spoke English if there were any potential problems with the pronunciation of "Piss-a-Fun". Maybe go with "Pisheefun" or "Pisky-fun". Or just change the brand to Asciwipe.
