oooooooh you hit the nail on the head. I was really disappointed when MGA failed to produce the Tasha doll. Thanks for finally giving Tasha her props! Wish MGA would come out with more of these dolls but with articulation. And you can't even find Nikki anywhere for under $150. I'm glad dolls are more diverse these days. By the way, great review.

The Top Model line went above and beyond for a play line. I remember getting Teresa from Walmart for $19.99. I live in a city where Nikki was never carried from the stores that I visited so I never knew she existed. When I discovered that Nikki was released after the line was discontinued, I was saddened to have missed out on her for retail prices.

Hey there!..... I am in South Florida.... This line was heavily carried by Walmart... Though TERESA was the one shorted packed.... Summer and Barbie had multiples.... Nikki was a later addition.... Hence why she's not on the original commercial and portfolios....

@@exoticdreamdolls for some reason I love black haired dolls.... So initially I just got Teresa.... Which she was the "short pack".... There were produced in such large numbers.... That I got Barbie and Summer on sale....

honestly I used to be so embarrassed to like dolls when I was a kid. I was a cis female and literally the target age demographic, but my older sisters made fun of me LOL. Now that I'm 28, I live vicariously through people like you. thank you ❤

I remember the Barbie top model dolls!!! My daughter had the Summer, Barbie and Teresa dolls back in the day. I think she still has them in a rubbermaid container. She changed each dolls name lol….Barbie became “Tiffany”, Teresa became “Priscilla” and Summer became “Courtney”. I remember her favorite was the Summer doll. You’re bringing back lots of beautiful memories for me Jule!! 👍

Mattel actually made a new box for Nikki. On the back of her box she stands in the middle and rest of the characters are in the background 💙 Fav line ever produced by Mattel.

Where I live they Top Model Barbie dolls were sold at Walmart, and Nikki did arrive much later, however there were so many of her left over for so long!! I don’t think that folks were ready for her fierceness at that time. I bought her right away, but I really wished that I would have bought another of her. I felt bad every time I went to the doll aisle seeing her sitting there like that. But anyway, love your channel and keep up the good work! 😊

HA! Thankfully I am in South Florida.... a major retail market so this whole set on Top Models was available in large numbers.... I even have Nikki.... I HATE the muse bodies they have.... So recently I began buying the made to move dolls and have been doing major head swapping.... Thankfully the clothes fit.... LOVE this line.... Shame this "mass market" toy is a thing of the past...
