Hello!
So here is yet another gender bent cover, this time tackling one of the signature songs of the legendary Barbra Streisand, from her 1983 musical film "Yentl".
My introduction to this song was actually through Michael Crawford, he recorded the song on one of his albums and included it on his concert CD, and I've since encountered it from other singers as well. Michael's performance was very moving, and I think it's an incredibly powerful song with gorgeous writing and an amazing ending.
So, using Michael's arrangement, here is "Papa, Can You Hear Me?"/"A Piece Of Sky". Hope you all like it :)

The instrumental isolation software was a Godsend for invigorating my enthusiasm for making new recordings-so many songs that I’ve wanted to record for literal years, but couldn’t because tracks didn’t exist, I’m now able to record! Particularly the Sammy stuff-if I didn’t feel the need to space out doing the same artist multiple times it would just be like two months straight of Sammy Davis Jr. covers 🤣
