It is not as bad as people say, if you have picky kids or are very picky there can be some days the food might not be to your taste, then the next day everything changes. lol. They still have shortages and if you realize this before going you will not be disappointed.Thanks for the comment. 😁
Hey man im a single guy going to barcelo resort, i keep hearing bad things about the resort. Should i worry or will it be a good time? And are there young people around and clubs, im 23 so thats why lol. Thanks and great video man!
To be honest with the shortages the food can be hit or miss. We stayed at the occidental and barcelo. Barcelo was by far better for buffets. One thing to do is book the ala carte restaurants the day you get there. Then book once you use them up. We got to go to the ala carts almost every night this way. Be friendly and you will get your way. Also. Varadero is only a 2 min walk away. Food is cheap and great quality in town. We met friends at the resort and went into town to eat many times. This must be a lucky day. Most days it is terrible and Cubans fighting for first dibs on the food. So many Cubans, no way you are able to take a video like this. Barcelo is probably one of the worst resorts in Varadero right now.
Honestly we werer there 8 days and we hardly seen any cuban people at the resorts other than of course the work staff. They mostly had people from Alberta,Manitoba and Quebec . Had a great time at Barcelo and Occidental. Next time we will stay at a higher class hotel. But would return to Barcelo for the price.
