Say what you want but in this elite club completion - mistakes are paid. Thats what football is about - make other team commit mistakes ; thats how games are won and last. That is what Barcelona has done, defended really well but it takes goals to finish off football games and Lionel Messi over the 2 legs has literally been involved in all 4 goals. I must have watched a different game. I saw a team that suffered from poor goalkeeping and defensive mistakes but continued to try to score despite being down 2-0 after 20 minutes. It wasn't until they were 3-0 down did their heads drop and their standard of play suffered. Up until then I saw a team that tried despite some players not having the greatest of performances. This is rant is so off the mark it isn’t funny. The players showed a lot of desire today considering how close we came to scoring on multiple of occasions. Hit the woodwork twice, forced multiple blocks for their defenders. It was just errors today that cost us today. Will agree that Moses was poor in the final third, but Hazard was lively most of the game. Players showed a lot of heart far more than I have seen when we have gone out to the likes of PSG and Atletico. Messi was literally the difference between the two sides over the tie, and if it can’t see that well you don’t know football in the slightest.
