Thank you for noticing 🥹 And yeah, I used to think that I would stay in Bali for around 5 years and then move back to Europe but after 4 months there I was ready to go back home 🥲 ahhh I’m always dreaming about the van life in the back of my head - is it like you thought it would be? And I think, you’d love Barcelona, I really think it’s one of the best cities in Europe but I’m a little biased 🫢

​@@AnnaLenkovska Oh yeah wow, it's fascinating how everything can unfold so differently from how we imagined. Still curious about the sudden shift from Brazil to Barcelona too haha!👀 Agh I wrote a full response to your question but then it all disappeared..😭But either way it was a hard question to give a short answer to. Basically I think it comes down a lot to what kind of lifestyle you're in it for. For me it was mostly about just working & living from many different unique places. But then this kind of fomo appears because I want to be travelling & exploring everything as I go, while still having an almost full-time job that takes up most of my day. So it's a peculiar balance, but I definitely think I have a lot more to experience with it. I've had a lot of bad luck and mishaps so the actual weeks of having a "normal" life & routines hasn't been that many yet. The biggest unforeseen downside for me was definitely how not optimised van life is for spending longer periods or living in bigger cities. I had a break-in in Nice, France so by the time I got to Barcelona I was pretty scared in terms of where to park. I ended up only parking like 1 hour outside of the city and that's just not the same. So I might still end up moving there (or another city) sometime in the future.🥰
