Well in all honesty, Enrique (just like Guardiola) blossomed in the strategy he brought/discovered. But he did not have adaptability, and when everyone observes a strategy for a long enough time, they are able to find weaknesses. Barca's downfall started showing after the season Naymar left. I've been watching almost all Barca matches since 2009 and I first started seeing flows as a team after Neymar left. If anyone had to guess that exact moment I think everyone will pick that. I saw Suarez not performing to his own standards the following season and back then the media and these so called football pundits said it was because of neymar's departure that Suarez was under performing. Rightfully so. Though I remember Messi being phenomenal in that season too. BARCA competly started falling after the AS Roma defeat Not to mention they couldn't bring remarkable players to replace Xavi and Iniesta instead they bought the best midfielders of that time to fill in the space when they realized Xavi and Iniesta's time was nearing. tiki-taka doesn't work when you don't have players with creativity and talent (especially in the midfield). Setien tried to implement his version of tiki taka, but what we got was a lot of useless side passing that didn't get anywhere. Compare that to Bayern's tactics on that infamous night, the system completely collapsed. You need players like Xavi and ineista.

I was so upset about the offside goal. Like why did they even bring VAR when they can´t get such a clear decision right. Even the goal messi scored, like should he cut his arm? When i was watching the match live it felt like the refrees were doing everything in their power to keep the match alive somehow.
