Welcome to an exciting adventure through one of the most picturesque and cultural capitals of the world - Barcelona! In this video we take you on an exciting journey through the most significant places and attractions of this Spanish city, all in one day.
We will begin our adventure at dawn at one of Barcelona's most famous landmarks - the Sagrada de Familia.
Next, we will walk through the Eixample district to the Arc de Triomphe and visit the city's Ciutadella Park.
Parc de la Ciutadella is one of the most famous and beautiful parks in Barcelona.
The Ciutadella Park was created in the 19th century on the site of a former fortress (ciutadella means “fortress” in Catalan). This fortress was built in the 18th century and was used to control the city.
One of the main attractions of the park is the Cascada fountain. This magnificent fountain was designed by the sculptor and architect Josep Fontserre and became the centerpiece of the park. In the center of the fountain stands a sculpture known as the Triumphal Carriage, which symbolizes the goddess Victoria.
The Ciutadella Park is home to one of the oldest zoos in Europe. The zoo was opened in 1892 and still attracts visitors with its variety of animals and exotic atmosphere.
