The under rated factor of Nico's game is his strength on the ball. So often he gets behind the defender and when the defenders are nudging him, he can just push the defenders away and still keep his composure on the ball. This is a very important skill that I have also seen in Mbappe.

I think Kounde and Yamal worked good because Yamal will not always track back. But when Kounde gets advanced.. he’s pretty good. He’ll only get better and in the modern game, a strong RB is more superior than a pacey one. Finally we came move on from Roberto. Was good for us while it lasted but it’s time to move on. Yamal should’ve had a goal. At 16 he’s getting so many chances in both passing and shooting. I’m pretty sure he’ll be hungry for that goal against Germany. And that’s what makes it scary. A player who takes on and is hungry for goals… scary. It’s becoming more: Get Nico first and a CDM second… At the moment I’m against that because.. we can’t play this type of football if we have no structure and cover in midfield; that being a CDM. Someone who can carry from the back, play it to the midfielders, and wingers. We can’t have another Pivot partnership cause it will leave the single midfielder too isolated. In order for this to work a CDM is a priority. They have to be able to play BREAKING LINE PASSES. And… play quick. One, two touch. We can have Frenkie doing feints. We need Frenkie/Gavi receiving the ball dribble towards the backline and feeding it to the attackers. With Pedri/Gundo/Fermin. Our wingers will have a field day with the backline and with a Striker like Lewandowski who has no pace… it will be simple for him to be at the right place right time.

Kounde is CENTREBACK!... Not a Right Back! I don't even understand why this being discussed as Flick potentially using him in that position. He doesn't belong there and he is NOWHERE near as dynamic in that position as a true RB tends to be.

This might be an unpopular opinion, and I might get called out for it, but wtf🤷‍♂️😅. I love Nico as much as everyone, but I'm not so sure he's the perfect thing we need on the wing. Hear me out first......I just think he's a bit like a typical winger....just really good at what he does. My "discomfort" with him is that he needs a good amount of space to work with at times....kind of like Kylian who's an excellent dribbler, but most of the time depends on speed and acceleration. Someone like Kvara on the other hand is extremely dynamic and can get out of any situation with his ability. My fear is that he won't always have that space to work with and it might affect him in some games...if we sign him. Esp in the CL with tougher defenses. That's why I just absolutely love Neymar. He had everything he needed to get through any situation. His first touch could create the space for him and teammates. He could go at a slower pace and speed things up when he needed to. Brilliant. I'm not sure if Nico could be that dynamic I dunno......maybe I'm just bothered abt nothing🤷‍♂️😅....and it's not like we've signed him yet. Plus there doesn't seem to be a ton of options. Let's see how it all goes..

With Balde & cancelo on the left, I don’t see kounde being the attacking fullback at Barca. I actually see flick using him at CB because flick’s system requires fast centerbacks. Araujo & kounde are our fastest CBs.

I hear all the talking of wanting him and 60 mil to grab him but very little on the initial questions of salary. I think everyone would be glad to see him come if we can get him. Yamal needs to learn to play with both foots. He missed most of the chances against Georgia because he couldn't use his right foot. Even when it's clear that he'll kick with his right foot, he would delay by taking it to the left foot.

I am all for signing Nico Williams if he can score more goals than he did last season. In all competitions, he only had 5 goals last season. That is not acceptable. Barca needs goal scorers, along with people who set up (assist) them. He did well in that category with 21 assists. But since Yamal has not developed into a legit goal scorer, one of the two or both need to step that up or Barca will be shitty again this season. Ter Stegen isn't going to score the goals!
