August and Summer in general are months where refurbishments take place in the metro, so many lines are partially closed, and it's difficult to get around. Oh, have you seen how Laietana Street is? It's impossible to walk there!

Is it safe to visit Barcelona now? I'm really having a hard time coming to terms with spending my money in a city that doesn't seem to want it?
