The Bard class' weapons, armor, and accessories focus on providing short, stat-improving empowerments while still dealing symphonic damage. Although the Bard buffs themselves when fighting, a larger benefit can be found through teamwork; empowerments are also given to friendly players standing near the Bard, so they are a great addition to a multiplayer scenario.
This video shows the best class setups for Bard throughout Terraria Thorium Mod v1.6.3.8 Update, divided into 9 stages. This video is based on my opinion & self-preference. Some items can be changed depending on your preference.

Also, for anyone asking about Thrower class Guide, the Thrower class is getting removed next update, completly, so it would be usless to do one.

Thorium has it's own specialty throwing class, so it still technically exists within the mod.

Thrower class was only removed in vanilla Terraria, Thorium adds a fully fleshed out thrower class so a guide wouldn’t be usless

A few things I've found out, sorry if they're common knowledge Magic conch helps with wall of flesh a lot, and if you want you can set up a house on the opposite side and run back and keep fighting if you die I found the 24-carat tuba helps a lot with destroyer, menacing prefix is good for skeletron, and warding is good for the twins. Destroyer is the easiest and if you use that for steampunker (For steam flute for twins) and hallowed megaphone for skeletron, that helped me a lot Plantera is easy with the bass booster and using the hallowed megaphone to take out the annoying thingies Golem is golem... Cultist is easy with boom box Lunar events aren't fun but boom box With moon lord, you might wanna make a big tower and have the nurse at an easy to reach spot. Try to kite the moon lord's parts against the wall and use the shooting star blast-guitar against the wall so it's hit by the stars and the falling beam thingies Primordials... Will be done soon enough. So far it looks like using prime's roar's tune debuff + sonic amp deals mad dmg. I'm focusing the green dude bc I think he's the hardest while completely ignoring the other 2 so they don't go into their next stages and give me a chance to regen and relax. Once he's down I'll take out the fire dude then use blue as a relaxing period. I don't remember the names. I haven't won just yet (My first calamity play through) but it's going fairly smooth (I'll keep adding as I go down the boss list)

Is no one going to acknowledge how clever some terraria items are. Examples: Fan letter = some kind of music buff (I've never played thorium before) Wineglass = A weapon which references those cool little tunes you could play with one. Also it made of AQUAmarine. Aqua = water and water = a vital part of playing a tune on a wineglass. This game/community are so CLEVER!

Yeah. Song of Fire&Ice is used to be a boss killer weapon but thanks to the Metronome, it's no longer a weapon.

Do you know what Fargo’s Soul mod is? It adds new accessories that combine both Armor set effects and accessories into a single accessory. So basic substitutions for FM + Thorium: If any accessory has an available essence, use it (except Auto Tuner, because Cyber Punk is bugged and does nothing last time I checked) After Moon Lord, you can make the Bard’s Soul, it gives a ton of Bard bonuses, including more max Inspiration, as well as the hardmode sub-class booster accessories.

My only issue with the bard class is the timing based weapons, too annoying to pay attention to that while in a fight, and yes you could ignore it, half of them have an incredibly annoying clicking sound, they're pretty good for damage but its just not worth it.

Lol dude it ain't that hard. Use the sound to time it. Play a rhythm game or some shit damn. I beat several pre hardmode bosses with "Song of Ice and Fire". I guess someone might find it annoying, but the timed weapons are great dmg for a bit less focus. Being able to multitask is a needed skill for gaming. After all, you gotta play while not looking at your keyboard and mouse. Likewise, the more you practice, the better you get.

@@magicmanmarley327 Tbh most weps don't use the timers. I will say that the best ones earlier on do use them. Especially a harp you get from the wizard pre-mech. It can give an insane amount of DMG reduction to the point where you can just tank.

for the pre mech boss part dragon armor is actually better (no joke intended) it isnt specifically meant for bard class but offers more defence than the marching band armor set and the armor bonus is really good with piercing weapons
