I never realized how powerful roads are, I like to use them cause "capital connect go big" but seeing how you used then for more movement options and advantages, it made me realize that I should refresh myself with strategies

0:45 that's not entirely true I guess. I played with some friends, one of them didn't have the beta, so we couldn't use it. But as he got it, we were able to play with diplomacy. Maybe that's just for invite-related matches, but as long as all players have it, it should work

Yes it works in random matches too if the other players also have beta.

Playing with diplomacy especially against crazy bots is just cancer because the amount of cloaks spammed is horrendous you cant move anywhere because every free tile theres agent and your citcies are perma invaded

@@marcelord8372 you could technically place a knight at those cities. He can kill all of them in one turn, if the daggers spawn right. And if you're worried about the tree-defense buff, just chop them I guess (cries in Elyrion)

I recently tested diplomacy on cymanti and Ive noticed that cloaks can be very annoying to cymanti. Cymanti also weakened because trees gave less stars which keeps cymanti from rushing doomux(big thicms) too fast

Bardur is my favourite free tribe and they are pretty OP. The diplomacy update might nerf them slightly though, since Bardur are one of the tribes that tends to have a lot of forests in their territory. However, they will still be pretty strong.

It’s not really possible to play Bardur like this anymore after roads went from 2 to 3 stars & chop forest went from 2 to 1. Imo was a good balancing patch to nerf Bardur a bit!
