Awesome tutorial Sarah… perfect timing as the feet is next on my 3 toed gnome! Appreciate the wire inserted for the toes information too! The more solid the better!

Thank you so much for sharing these great tutorials! I love gnomes for holidays and this one is definitely my next project. You made the use of polymer clay look very doable even for first timers and I am excited to try this. My gnomes have never had legs, but they will now! 💗 Amy

I AM SO GLAD I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL!! I am currently cleaning out a VERY packed "workroom" that my Mom stores wreaths, her year round shopping for Christmas, baskets, material that she has been collecting since the 70s, AND my late Father's stained glass and firearms reloading workbench, as well as 25 years worth of fishing gear. I have another room that has sewing, collections of buttons and small things for crafts. It will take me WEEKS. But I am doing it because I have an inoperable brain tumor and can't work. I have to find something I can do for myself. So, I am going into the gnome business. I have a LOT to sell that will cover my start up costs. I am just not sure where to start. Except for cleaning out and organizing. I get my clay in this week. I already have the tools for some reason. 😅 But I look forward to duplicating your techniques. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!! ❤

Oh wow, that sounds like a huge undertaking - wishing you luck that you can find a ton to sell to get you going! :)

So ADORABLE I would definitely make those feet…. What gauge wire?? Does that matter or will using your hook trick work for any gauge wire??????
@SarahNenniDaher
@SarahNenniDaher Год назад
Thank you so much. Any gauge will work for the trick but not every gauge will work for your project. It should be an added structural layer, so using a very thin floral wire for a dense upper portion wouldn't be great.

Use a cut straw to form the toenails.

What temp do you bake the feet 🧐
@SarahNenniDaher
@SarahNenniDaher Год назад
It depends on the type of clay you get - some are 225, some are 275. I like "low and slow" to prevent cracking, so mine are usually at 225 F.,
