The Barfly Microshell 3-Layer Overpant is our lightest waterproof pant. It blends 30K/30K waterproof / breathable 2-way stretch 20D Nylon with 20K/20k 4-way stretch 160D Nylon reinforced knees and lower leg to balance weight and packability with durability where it counts. The full side-zip overpant design allows you to change as quickly as the weather, and when not in use, the Barfly stuffs into an integrated drop pocket to easily stash away until you need it.
Combine with the matching Barfly Jacket and rider-favorite Woodsman Pant to create a versatile multi-season layering system.

Just want to point out that these works perfectly with mountain bike riding in the northern and colder climate. And I love how though they are built, compared to ski clothing that are fairly similar, but does not fit kneepads underneath. Incredible work Mosko 🙌🏻 Cheers from Norway 🇳🇴

Hi MoskoMoto, normaly i wear L/34 size pants but Im wondering if i should Size up to XL when i want to put it over my pants, boots and protection. Greetings from Germany!

We have taken into account that the Barfly pants will be worn overtop other riding pants/armor so you shouldn't need to size up. However, recommend checking the size guide to be sure!

Team, are you planning an extended version? On tall riders ? I'm using WP OTB and I wonder if the leg will be long enough to cover it 🤔

We don't have plans to make the Barfly in Tall sizes currently. However, the Barfly is cut with a longer inseam since it is an over pant. You should be good to go if your inseam is 34" or shorter.

Hi I am from Germany and when I follow the link it says page not found.......hm. How can I get one of these? I'm wearing the woodsman pants in 36. do I have to choose the 38? Please help 🙂

hi I wear knee braces and adventure spec Mongolia trousers from your size chart if I measure just my body without armour I am a size small but I am bit worried that may be a bit tight at knee level where it gets bulky what's your suggestion size up or? thanks

We have designed our pants to work with knee braces but if you're in the upper range of the Small size it would likely be a good idea to size up.
