Tim Wonnacott hosts with Michael Hogben and James Braxton as experts, leading the Red and Blue team along Portobello Road and to Chiswick Auction house in pursuit of a big profit!
Long story short I was in London on a biz trip years ago (from west Wales) and I went along to the auction one evening and bought a quite rare West German vase for my wife for her collection for one of her Christmas presents. This was in March. 6 months later my wife called me in the office and said "I just saw you on TV on bargain hunt, you walked past the camera with a cup of coffee in your hand, it was in Chiswick auction"????????????????? I had to own up. Bum!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear David Harper, Bargain Hunt is the best game show on TV! Im a huge fan and I hope BBC will put all of them on RU-vid. Please pull some strings. Twist some arms. Please?
Equality act means that a black person must present the show at some point so there not going to bring Tim back as the show was deemed to white by the bbc review board.
Those two teams are playing a completely different game, I'm only half way and it really bothers me, I just hope the blue will find their own treasure. Michael Hogben is supposed to keep am eye and so far he's the only finder!!!
@@davidsmyth8590 He is not around much on antiques shows now is he? I wonder why? I think he struck lucky with the figurine. The other stuff he recommended was tat. He pushed you into buying that fleabitten lump of dead animal, and that teapot thing? Conversely, I Loved the auctioneer! No pussyfooting there.
I’ve not seen him around, which is a shame as he is really charismatic. The other expert, James Braxton, was very knowledgable. He was giving us little snippets of info about the figurine after we bought it. The page turner was an error! Not sure if they did the golden gavel then but would have loved one!
@@davidsmyth8590 They came in much later I think. As for the page turner, how big was the page? You could have played cricket for the County with that thing! Lol
