Mostly gay couples or gay people in general on this show....... almost every episode has had a gay or lesbian couple.......clearly the people responsible for creating this show are infatuated with the gay scene
The FACT is that though LGB relationships and people are MUCH MORE WIDELY accepted in the UK now, there's still a stigma, even a danger... If people can find a place to call home and feel safe in I won't criticise that... (Bit of a shame that they have to move to another country just to feel like they can be themselves and live and love as they must...) Particularly for WORKING CLASS or 'less monied' queer people that can be a real issue... I say best of luck and love to them... (I'm straight...) xx S
Too much eating & drinking combined with not enough exercise? Me and my sons are always having a good laugh seeing the condition the people in the series are in... I've got to give the British one thing though; They are outgoing cheerful people that are great communicators....
Watching this series I get the feeling that 50% of the population is gay.. So maybe I was right as a child when I thought British people are gay because of the way they speak... I'm originally from the Netherlands where we tend to have a harsh guttural (barbarian like ) sound when we speak. Plenty of gay people in the Netherlands too though... Bugger me!I shouldn't have written that!....... Now the Dutch are going to be angry with me.. I hope I'm safe in New Zealand where I've been living since 1987🙂
@@normanlee31 What is this obsession with geriatric drag acts in Benidorm? All the 'entertainers' are dreadful, but the drag acts are in a league of their own. What is funnier is most of the audiences would be totally anti towards gay people back home.
