Barge Eider 2023 

Here is a presentation of our barge 'Eider' in 2023. Nearly 20 years after her keel was laid and 18 years after comissioning at Stibbington near Peterborough England. She is 55ft long and 12ft wide with approximately 22 tonnes displacement. Powered by a naturally aspirated 85hp marinised John Deere with only 90 hours of use, Eider has cruised the river Nene and provided a home for us. The barge is fitted with a bow thruster, Eberspacher central heating and an Effe diesel stove.
