Just put the strings on this for the first time and really enjoying playing it. I've put a MiSi battery-free rechargeable active pick up in it which sounds great. Problem is - will I be able to let it go to my customer?
I am still convinced that George Harrison wrote this piece on a ukulele first. It's quite easy to pick on a ukulele, and on the Beatles' recording, he played it with a capo in 5th fret.
I think it's time to get a ukulele...George inspired me a long time ago...just been debating with myself which to get...a baritone or a tenor...you made the baritone sound awesome.
MegaSickcat, they’re both awesome instruments. Baritones have the same tuning as a guitar. Tenors have a different tuning. I have both sizes because each has a unique sound for different songs.
I find it impossible to figure out chords by looking at people's fingers.... would you consider posting the chords in order played? It sounds very nice and I just got a baritone uke for Christmas and love how beautiful they sound, much like a classical guitar when playing songs like that one.
Thanks - I made it myself (Martin Cole) for one of my customers. I've retired now with asthma due to fine sawdust inhalation over the years so can't make any more I'm afraid but try asking any experienced luthier if you're looking for something a bit special.
