Mine went alright (...the lab assistant told us the salts at the beginning.) so we just had to do the tests, in the viva the teacher asked questions related to the compound used in the titration, how to identify groups of ions and methods of preparation of the different functional groups

A good teacher is one who can do good practicals and can explain them properly to students ,my father had said this...he has a PhD in chemistry and he also disliked the idea of using gloves or eye protection spectacles

Why can't every teacher be like you😔 In our school if you go asking anything twice, they will literally scold(if not beat) the shit out of you... Teachers should be patient and responsible, there should be a degree for teaching also... I know biology, but I can not do surgeries right now... Similarly knowing the subject and teaching it are different things...

If u r testing for cation first and u get the cation group one or group five then make sure u will never get sulphate and phosphate as anion bcz r insoluble

So as to check whether so4 2- or po4 3- is present or not if ba2+ is present then both of the anion will not be present..Also we generally get ba2+ only..
