I don't see how these knives cost $250+. I just don't get it. At least a folder has some machining. A fixed blade is heat treatment (which isn't magic) and basic grinding. I don't understand how they get so many people to pay that.
Much more steel, handle materials, the cost of cutting the blanks and paying people to put the knives together by hand. Bark River's prices are a little high because they are available. You could buy a custom knife for about the same money, but have to wait a long time to get your knife.
