BARKLIFE: #2 Mabel gets her own camera 

Stan, best video yet. My Park for the last 70 years, 70 years ago in my pram!! There was a swimming pool, not active in my day, but my late mother was a regular there in the 1930's. There are two buried air raid shelters in the park as well. The snowdrops were planted by a local lady, Pam, and her late husband Roland, about 5 or 6 years ago. I had a beautiful black labrador for 12 years, until 4 years ago. Every morning at 7.45 we did a circuit of the park. walking the paths you did. I wish I had walked through and met you. Mabel is absolutely hilarious, saying that better behaved than our beagle 🙄 keep the cafe chat going, soon hopefully the weather will warm up and we will at some point be able to sit outside a cafe 🌱☺️

Stan: What a legend. He gave un-trendy teen geeks like me hope in the '80s. When I first saw the Housemartins, singing "Happy Hour" I thought "Wow! There are nerds in the charts!". Thanks for these uploads, Stan, and thank you for all the music you gave us. You helped me through the 1980s.

Awesome history lesson and terrific views of the park. I'm glad Sir Greville balanced off his bad karma with a lovely green space for all of Bristol. Mabelcam is fantastic. Loved seeing her perspective when you called her from across the lawn (or was that clever editing?!?). Music was gorgeous, as always. Seeing the sun and the snowdrops made me hopeful for spring. Love the history lesson. There is no wonder why his widow gave the collection of dead animals to the museum. Obviously she wanted to get rid of it. Who wouldn't? I also like the fact that you two can make even a not really nice looking park interesting and find something positive in it. Like ... people. And signs. And a feast at the end! What more can one ask for in a story? Hm... more films obviously.
