i was there that day and despite the major ups and downs of being a fulham supporter for 60 years . that day ranks as the most eurphoric moment ive ever experienced in sport. large bit of karma for MJ . however he got his own back next test series.
The barmy army are great, they still show respect by clapping mitch on, although that might have been sarcastic. Still, they're great fun. BTW, this is coming from an aussie.

Oh I was and nearly went back to my daughters a bit early but her husband said we need to hang on Johnson will be in soon , oh how glad we stayed ive never experienced anything like before or since.

well there was the issue of booing Ponting and the idiot army taking great enjoyment in Mitch's personal problems as well as mocking his bowling which most people would class as bullying. As for dummy-spitting I have seen numerous instances of English posters spit the dummy and whinge when ever an Australian posts something negative about an Pom/Saffa/Kiwi playing for England in the Ashes
And then next Ashes series Mitch proceeds to absolutely single-handedly eviscerate the English side and set it motion the retirement of half their team lmao.

i was in perth when we won the ashes, it was nice for the aussies to admit they were beaten by the better side, generally they are sore losers. cheers convicts
