Hey David. Good find. I talked with you months ago about the blue Tii you had for sale. I ended up buying a blue one from Edmonton. I had it shipped to Winnipeg. Only trouble is, there’s snow on the ground and I don’t have an insulated garage to work on it. I can’t wait until spring to have fun with it. I’m not going to go crazy restoring it - I’m going to have fun driving it as is. The previous owner also installed a 5 speed in my car.

Man if you kept the car, I thoroughly hope you addressed that rust because it is in very bad places. I know, it's money, but leaving it there means a death sentence that beauty does not deserve. In 2017 I got myself a 1976 pastellblau e21 (my daily drive) and the very first money I spent addressed right that issue. "Once and for the next 40 years" ;-)

I had a yellow one from the same year but without those horrendous bumpers! My tii had a close ratio and a 4 branch too.

The door panel trim is from the earlier car up to 73...Left Rear shock tower needs attention. Try double clutching the trans to avoid the gear grind. Nice vids keep up the good work! Oh and check for the rear diff being limited slip and check ratio...Merry Christmas!!

Dude you have alpina going around your head. Not Alpina valve cover, those webers were available everywhere. Manifold and other bits questionable, anyone could slap alpina badge. Its a cool car the color is very desirable and and the dodleg 5spd people will give you an actual leg for it.

Where do you find these cars? Very hard to find, and when you do find them they are expensive

Removing those bumpers will immediately make it look so much better. The original design takes a big hit with the ugly stick with those diving boards.
