When we get a call on an M car that's been sitting around you don't need to ask us twice if we want to have a bash at bringing it back to life. So here it is quite possibly one of the best examples of the BMW e46 M3 in the UK - well now at least.
Grab a cuppa, sit back and see how the team at the Detailing Academy spent the best part of a week getting this BMW e46 M3 looking better than the day it rolled out the dealership.

Excellent work! The production value is head and shoulders above everyone else. The M badge on the wheels was upside down. Should be BMW roundel and M below it.

wow wow wow WOW what more can i say WOW i am disabled and quite recently bought a bmw e38 which looked perfect and somebody went and damaged the door mirror DAMN FOOLS but looking at this bmw really puts a wow back on the page . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK .

I’ve watched many car detailing videos......BUT you guys are by far “the best” in the business. Your attention to detail is so “on point” I’ve have never seen any other detail company remove lights, badges,trim etc. A totally brilliant result by the best professional detailers in the business, by a country mile! "Your Holiness" “Goodbye” comes from the term “Godbwye” a contraction of the phrase “God be with ye”. Depending on the source, the contraction seems to have first popped up somewhere between 1565 and 1575. The first documented use of the “Godbwye” appeared in a letter English writer and scholar Gabriel Harvey wrote in 1573. But I guess you already knew that.

I fully agree with your point about coatings vs. wax. Coatings tend to look glassy, if that makes sense, but carnauba wax just lends a warmer glow that ceramics have a hard time matching. The glossiest coatings I've tried are Modesta BC08 & the really famous CSL/ExoV4 combo. Sure, in terms of durability & hydrophobicity, coatings are the best, but there's just something about a good quality wax that makes the paint really pop.

'Barn find' you're joking right? 😂 😂 😂 It literally just sat on the drive for a few months....A barn find is a car that's locked away in a garage/shed/barn for good couple of years, usually one that is pre 2000.

I had two 2006 M3's both with 6 speed manual. I bought an Imola Red car and was pulled over three time in a month and half of owning it. Paid some more dough and received a Carbon Black Metallic car with black interior. I saw this car and it brought back memories. I sold mine with 21K miles in 2010. The last of the E43 BMW. Outstanding detail job!

Fantastic video - great to see the presentation and production values - not irritatingly in the face at all as other videos on RU-vid can be in terms of for example ridiculous music or a cocky presenter. This is almost the exact spec as mine, but I knew better than to get a carbon black one. I got steel gray on red interior and luv it. The only thing is now is the owner will probably lock it away and not drive it because it is so nice , but hopefully Im wrong. One of the best driving cars , ever.

I like seeing people still using rotary and it really depends on your preference, with what tool you are confident, etc. I recently picked a rotary , didn't do my work on DA and was thinking that this wasn't the ideal choice (having in mind that I'm an amateur and still learning even though that maybe the DA would be easier to start with) but in the end it takes practice and time to master any kind of tool. And thank you for the video, very interesting and informative. Keep up the good work guys!

I OWN A 22 YEAR OLD E38. 728I , Its mint not one ding or scratch , I havent got a spare £ 3000 for a detail so i will stick to my bucket of hot soapy water . and my sponge ,And my can of turtle wax ,every weekend it gets done every weekend . And it glows at night . its never been in a car wash ever from new . its light green .boy its mint .

6 detailers, 4 days, at 400 € per detailer per day, I assume it is cheaper to re-paint the car, and then polish it. But as a video of what can be done by detailing, it is pretty impressive. Congratulations!

Wow! This is the real definition of detail. I haven't seen any where do a perfect detail like this. My E90 is in desire need of a major paint correction. The sun and elements here in Hawaii really take a toll on our paint jobs. If you folks were here I'd definitely leavy my car in your teams hands.What an amazing job you and your team did. 👏 i will definitely buy your products.
