I get asked pretty frequently how I find the three wheelers I buy... especially when they're time capsules that come out of somebody's barn. The answer isn't rocket science. It isn't a big secret. It's just doing your due diligence and keeping tabs on old leads, new leads, meeting new people, and letting your reputation as "ThAt CrAzY tHrEe WhEeLeR gUy" work for you!
In this video I share the latest round of machines that have followed me home. Unfortunately they weren't 4 350X's and a 250R like in my Barn Find video from back in November, but it was still a neat haul. Not everything can be a home run, but this is a solid double!
So, you will see a 1971 Aquarius Blue US90 with balloon tires, a 1974 Daytona Orange US90 with its balloon tires, a 1982 ATC 185s and a 1983 ATC 110. Oh, and a late 60's Honda S90 that was last registered in the fall of 1969! I just thought it was super cool and had to buy it.
Again, it's not a secret on how to do this... you just have to put in the leg work and be ready to strike when things pop up!
I also do some post-snirt clean up on the machines (1985 ATC350X and 1986 ATC250SX) that Donny Buysall and I rode at that poker run. That involves multiple pressure wash and detailing sessions to get the machines back into a clean state! Enjoy!
