burnt out the card. Think the motor is ok but not 100% sure. I guess I could order the card from somewhere then go from there

@charlie1872 if you mean the PCB, Peter spares here in the UK do them. There are 2 versions though (power car & dummy car) so make sure to find the correct one for your Model. Extremely easy to replace, just a 5 min job.
