Thanks for showcasing my coaster Jonny. The preshows are in the 1st and second building, right before you enter the station. There where no images but only audio playing, because I don't find the pre-show video. Glad you liked it! cheers..
I saw a pic of this recreation and genuinely had to look twice to see it was in fact a Planet Coaster recreation and not the real deal. Absolutely stunning. Also the interior is incredibly true to life, having ridden Baron 1898 about 10 times now, even the preshows with the miners' outfits hanging from the ceiling and the animatronic on the balcony. Much love from Flanders, you crazy awesome person.
Yes 2 pre shows in the queue. And one before the lifthill. You will stand still there, and see and hear the show and then the wheel begins to spin and then you’re going on the lifthill
Great video and great recreation! Just went in this for the first time 2 weeks ago and its spot on. The builder is right though. In real-life the preshows are very important because the ride itself is short (but sweet, its a b&m divecoaster so you know its solid) . Like almost all Efteling rides its about the overall experience instead of the ride itself. So the theming , music , sound effects , animatronics etc really make it. Thanks!
This is exactly how it looks in real life, I advise you to go to the efteling if you're in the netherlands, it is amazing. Efteling has such incredible scenery. I might try to make the vliegende hollander :)
The preshows are the little areas inside of the queline in the main building and the part you already mentioned. It is quite hard to make them in planet coaster i think. The storyline: Baron Hoogmoed has a mine bit it is huanted by the white woman (witte wiefen). Baron Hoogmoed don’t want to close his mine although everyone is scared of the white woman. You, as a guest, are going to go in the mine of Baron hoogmoed to defeat the white woman. I did ride the coaster myself and it was astonishing!
It is not to defeat the white woman, but to mine the gold that they are protecting (as they are the protectors of nature). Right before you leave on the actual ride they warn you for the last time, but as you decide to go in anyways they haunt you and the haunting part is actually the ride.
The first time I drived it, I was so scared because I was on a Xl-seat, which means that the hanger don't reach ed my chest. Before the free fall, where it stopped, I was just hanging at the hanger. While all of my friends were so fixed on their seats. And the mini-pizza there costed me cover 4 Euros.
A great ride to experience in real life ... The story goes that a rich Baron (hence the name) has a Gold mine that he wants to mine as soon as possible ... But in an old Dutch legend the "Witte Wieven" (sort of White Witches) are living in the swamps surrounding the mine and cursing the miners ... Every ride is actually a drop in the mine but because of the curse it all goes wrong ... Every time the Baron asks in the pre show of this crew is "up to the task" but as heard in the video just before the ride you hear one of the "Witte Wieven" call out: "Hoogmoed komt voor de val" (A Dutch saying meaning: Pride comes before a fall... And Hoegmoed also being the name of the Baron creating a double meaning) indicating that your descent down in the mine will be cursed too....
had some copyright issues last night???? Whatever. This is an AMAZING ride. the 3 preshows (one on the coaster self) are outstanding. the bell sound before the drop is heard in the whole park and my dad loves this ride just because its beutiefull to look at. (He's afraid of coasters). and the recreation is almost simular to the real one. only problem is that you cant make preshows in the cue.
One of the - if not the - best and my favourite recreation so far but I do have one thing that I don't like, the pre-made coaster elements. This leads to bad transitions and unsmooth elements, it would be awesome if the creator re-made the pre-made elements in the coaster, the other parts of it are fine it's just the elements.
I don't think you have to have anything on it but I'm pretty sure you'll need some proof that you play the game. I joined with just 1 item on the workshop so I don't know
No it isnt. It's in the cueline. That there in the Efteling video is just the ride, with a short pause before launch. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0Z_CFDV30Dk.html start at preshow. or ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xb_43hWuVkQ.html For only the pre-show.
My point is, operateur did not describe where or what the preshow is. In the Efteling's own video, they don't even show it, all you see is the little light show before the ride. So it's very understandable how someone *who has never been there or know what to look for* could make that mistake.
Let me ask this then: How many rides have you or anyone else ever been on that have a *Pre show* on the ride. Every single ride that have a Pre show has it where it naturally would be. PRE the ride, Ie. in or around the cue line.
Considering you're calling it pre-SHOW, and a roller coaster is *not*, in fact, a _show_, your point is completely moot. On the video, there was a light/visual SHOW as you are waiting to launch the ride. This could very easily be interpreted as the "pre-show" because you're still waiting to launch on the RIDE (presumably as part of the blocking stations). So no, stop being a pedantic troll. It's still an understandable mistake.
