Baron Davis’ the first to mention Glen Grunwald and how valuable he was to the Knicks. When Mr. Dolan got rid of him back in 2013 that started an 8 year decline for my Knicks. Glen Grunwald built that Knicks tape era
Buddy, Glenn traded for Andrea bargnani a horrible player that was in compatible with Melo, stat Felton etc. in addition he did not work at establishing a culture. As a result Dolan panicked and hired Phil the WORST GM IN KNICKS HISTORY. He dismantled a team that only needed a point guard, that’s it. Also wasted prime Melo years. And signed washed up Noah and d rose
Only real hoopers can appreciate Andre Miller game. Nothing was flashy about it, but fundamentally sound. He was like the guard version of Tim Duncan. I liked him at Utah
I'm 33 and people always said I weird because my top two palyers in my early teens and teenage years was Tmac and Monta. Especially saying Monta people looked at me crazy but I just really wnjoyed watching him play. His Dallas years were slept on, him and Dirk was killer in the 4th. They made that Rondo trade and everything collapsed lmao
Please get Jeremy Lin on the podcast! Would love to hear from both Lin and Melo about that whole experience (good, bad and ugly). Im sure Knicks fans would love it
@@kylemackellar9209 The difference is Lin is a role player and plays team ball. Insane how you thought you did something while disregarding melo caring about money, 30, and nothing else. I know “iT dOeSeNt mAtTeR” lol.
"I'm sorta like BD y'all can't stop the dribble nor block the layup" - Weezy. This dude was one of dem fr. 2000s basketball was live asf from the playground to the pros
Idk I think Melo and Mero goated in podcast. Only yet seen this and Julius Randle episode but both were extremely amazing. Even off the court Melo splashing shots. 🫡🫡🫡
I love any interview with Baron Davis. He’s so damn cool. And he tells the best stories. I hung out with him a few times when he was with the Hornets and he was always cool.
Baron is one of the best people! I’m glad really glad that he didn’t get up here and just hate on the current or players he played with like other retired NBA players. Great talk🫡
BD is very underrated and under appreciated. A couple reasons. One was already mentioned. In GS, Monta (another forgotten problem) and Curry came after. Then, of course, he was followed by CP3. It is understandable how he gets lost in the shuffle but he definitely doesn’t get his flowers.
Gsw was my 2nd favorite team growing up baron davis in his prime was exciting to watch i remember being in the 10th grade when they beat dallas won $50 great era of hoops
BD is on point about understanding the personality of a team. As a Magic fan I'm not the biggest Cole Anthony fan, but the last 2 years he had been the emotional leader of the team and they wouldn't have made the jump they made this year without that.
BD real Dude I remember me being fresh outta jail seeing Him in Club I told Him I worked at Charlotte coliseum He showed mad love. Big Gator straight outta Brooklyn living that Charlotte life...
I don’t how I feel about a player from my favorite sports team getting a side hustle of that magnitude. Jordan was the only one who could do it, both at its full potential.
I find it interesting how Melo has a guest on his podcast that clears up the Linsanity story and all this time Espn and stephen a pushed the story that he tried to kill it.
baron was my fav pg durin that time! I wanted Gs to win the whole ish but it was what it was! By the time he made it to Ny he was on the latter end so he was an excellent locker room presence! He also did kill with NY!
That's a great great point by Byron Davis about JJ Redick and the past greats of the game. Imagine how good they would have been Walt Frazier or The Pearl Monroe and Jerry West and Oscar Robertson and Bob Cousy if they had the equipment and the training that guys have now
Straight up, OG Sane I would pay a monthly subscription to watch yall explain and break it down the way yall did.Knowledge and entertainment. America turn off your TV’s and learn somethin
