From my experience with owning four G9s, if it is a borderline fit, it's better to size up because they can shrink slightly in the wash. Just to add, It is incorrect that James Dean is wearing a red Baracuta g9, he is wearing a very similar style Mcgregor drizzler jacket.
Hi, I'm 177cm and 78kgs, i picked a size 40 (the newer fit) yesterday in Baracuta Milan store. 42 fits a little awkward as it has longer sleeve and torso, i feel like these jackets are meant to sit just above your trousers pockets.
I believe the vintage ones (Steve McQueen era) were looser fit, since that was the style of the time. The newer ones are supposed to fit a bit tighter to the body, so yours looks perfect in that regard.
@@TimeandTalk I take 40 in a Barber Beaufort so I think I will go for a 40 in the G9, just got to decide which fit i want. I really like their suede options. Yours fit looks spot on, perfect spring/summer jacket!
