Barred Owlet Upside Down | What Shall we do? 

I had an epic experience yesterday afternoon. My friend called me and told me about this baby owl that was entangled on his feet and was upside down ( The owlet was branching and fell off the tree and landed on shrub and got entangled). What shall we do? I said can you untangle him? They did and the owlet landed on the shrubbery. I rushed over to my friend’s house. The neighborhood folks said what shall we do? Should we call Wildlife Rescue? There are lots of dogs and Coyotes here. However, there were 2 Barred Owls watching the owlet very intensely. My judgement was let him alone till next morning since it did not seem to have injury and was not on the ground. Many owlets can climb up all by themselves though I was not sure whether this fledgling was "old" enough to do so.
